On sale now! Purchase the 2021 CUD Pet Calendar

We are happy to announce that the 2021 Credit Union of Denver Pet Calendar is on sale now!

They are just $10 each and all the proceeds go to Foothills Animal Shelter!

Thank you to all the members and community photo contributions that made our 2021 calendar so awesome! This calendar is truly a labor of love of animals. Our staff loves to help feature our furry friends each year to support our local animal shelter. Please help us raise the much needed funds it takes to operate and care for the animals that find their way to the Foothills Animal Shelter.

We have highlighted stories, or Happy Tails, on each month in the calendar, showing how the shelter helps animals and impacts our community in a positive way.

Dog named Waffle laying on a blanket

One such story is about Waffle.

Here is what his owners had to say about him: “I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Waffle find me. He’s the biggest sweetheart on EARTH and his favorite thing to do is just hang out on my bed and nap. He’s an absolute angel, thank you so much for taking him in and helping us find each other!”

The calendars are available for purchase at our branches or if you would like us to ship them to you, give us a call at 303.239.1150 or 800.279.3288 and let us know how many calendars you would like to purchase and we can ship them for $10 per calendar.

This is a great holiday gift idea that gives back and spotlights our member’s pets and the love of an awesome community we live in!

Here is a little information from The Foothills Animal Shelter website to understand why we do this every year.

Foothills Animal Shelter logo

Foothills Animal Shelter is an open-admissions facility, which means we never turn away an animal. We care for more than 9,200 orphaned cats, kittens, dogs, puppies and critters every year with a compassionate team of staff and volunteers. (Unfortunately, we cannot accept wild animals; they should be taken to organizations that specialize in their care.) We are a true community resource and offer a variety of services including pet adoption, Jefferson County pet licensing, affordable spaying and neutering, vaccinations, micro chipping and lost and found pets. We are committed to our important mission and the life-saving work that we do every day of the year.

Miracle Jeans Day - support Children's Miracle Network

Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) is the brand under which America’s Credit Unions raise funds for their local children’s hospital. Over the past 23 years, credit unions have raised an incredible $185 million. Credit unions raise funds by engaging their communities, members, and employees. This has allowed them to make an immense impact for millions of children every single year. 100% of the donations go directly to the children’s hospital in your community.

Yet, our fight to end childhood illness is not over. We still need you. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are treating over 10 million children a year, and on behalf of these kids and their families please consider making a donation.

Please consider donating using Credit Union of Denver’s fundraising page. The fund raising page is still open. We were able to raise $125 in just a few days. Thank you to all who donated! Every little bit makes a difference.
