Last Saturday, April 20th, we held our Annual Shred Event!
It was a tremendous success! We helped over 500 vehicles through our three lines of Shred Trucks from Iron Mountain. A new record for this event! 35,000 pounds of paper were shred this year, making it a record amount!
We wanted to thank all of our members for their patience and continued support of this event. This was a free event, however we did accept donations. We ended up collecting $650.50 in donations for the Foothills Animal Shelter! A new record too!!!!
We also wanted to give a shout-out to our sign holders who helped manage traffic concerns, with our expanded route/map this year.
Thank you to our senior Management Team who also were there pitching in!
Thank you to our Lakewood Police Officer, Quinn, who helped a couple of people work through a minor bumper bump.
Thank you to Monica Mena, she helped notify us about a vehicle that was stalled and needed a battery jump. We ended up jump-starting the car and all was well.
Our name was quite the buzz in the neighborhood. There were some entrepreneurial young ladies on Hoyt St. that set up a lemonade stand. They said it was great and they did a killing with their stand!
Thanks again to our members on another successful Shred Event!
