Overdraft Privilege

Help avoid declined transaction with an added layer of coverage.

Overdraft Privilege1 can be used alongside Overdraft Protection or an Overdraft Line of Credit for added support.

At the credit union’s discretion, transactions may be paid up to $500 beyond your available balance, including fees³. Items are processed instead of returned, and a $30 Non‑Sufficient Funds (NSF) fee applies per transaction². Without this service, declined items would still incur the same NSF fee — and you could also face additional merchant fees.

If you qualify, this service may cover:

  • Checks
  • ACH transactions
  • Automatic bill payments (not initiated through C·U·D Bill Pay)
  • Recurring debit card transactions

Eligible members are automatically enrolled and may opt out at any time with a written request or within digital banking.
