Debit Card Advantage allows you to continue using your Credit Union of Denver Debit Card at merchants or ATMs even when there aren’t enough funds available in your account.
Without Debit Card Advantage, debit card transactions would be declined when funds are unavailable, and a $30 fee would apply for each approved transaction over $5 that posts to your account.
Coverage may extend up to $500 beyond your available balance, including fees³.
Note: When combined with Overdraft Privilege, the total benefit across both services is $500 per account number.

¹ Eligibility Requirements To qualify for Overdraft Privilege and Debit Card Advantage:
The primary member must be at least 18 years old
The checking account must be open for at least 90 days
The account must be in good standing with no loans more than 15 days past due
The member must not have caused a loss to the Credit Union
Business, Estate, Living Trust, and Representative Payee accounts do not qualify. These services do not apply to teller transactions or transactions initiated through C·U·D Bill Pay Services. Authorization and payment of transactions are at the Credit Union’s discretion, and services may be revoked at any time.
