FAQs

The new technology will bring improvements to many areas including digital banking, account opening processes, transaction management, statement records, faster loan applications, loan management, and more. This new advanced system will enable our employees to provide even better member service today while simultaneously positioning C·U·D to meet the future technological needs of our members tomorrow.

Yes, keeping your personal data and account information secure and private is a top priority for us. The upgrade will not compromise the security of your information in any way.

No, you will not need to update your Digital Banking password.

If you currently share a login with someone, we highly recommend they register for their own Digital Banking account and you update your password on your account. As noted above, if you have multiple C·U·D accounts they will all appear under one digital login after the upgrade, so continuing to share your Digital Banking login will allow the other person to see your entire relationship with C·U·D.

The upgrade will occur at the end of business on Friday, May 16, 2025 with the Alameda branch and credit union services re-opening for business mid-day on Monday, May 19, 2025. The Key Services Availability Chart outlines the schedule for when services will be accessible during the upgrade.

No, shared branching will not be available during the upgrade.

There will be service interruptions during the upgrade weekend, including:

  • Daily limits on ATM cash withdrawals and debit card transactions
  • No access to digital banking (including balance inquires) or shared branching services

We encourage members to prepare for these limitations by proactively planning for any transactions or cash withdrawals before the close of business on Friday, May 16, 2025.

The oldest opened C·U·D account will be the default account number used to login to digital banking. All other accounts will be visible underneath this one login.

Yes. eStatements will have up to 36 months of historical data saved. Transactions on your account will be viewable for up to 12 months’ worth of data.

All branches, including the Contact Center, will be closed.

Be prepared:

  • Know your account balances as of close of business on May 16.
  • If you are concerned about specific transactions on your C·U·D issued debit or credit cards, you may call the MasterCard Support number located on the back of your card. They will verify you before providing any information. There you can check on transactions going through and report if your card is lost or stolen.
  • Remember, you may always report your card lost/stolen by calling 866.820.5890 (Credit Card) or 888.918.7746 (Debit Card)

We post updates to this page as we move through the upgrade process. Our website is the best place to check the status. We will also communicate by email and post on social media channels.
