Whether it be the bustling streets of Downtown Denver or the quiet serenity of a hike to Hanging Lake, we encourage you to take advantage of all that our beautiful home has to offer. Unqualified adventuring advice for your travels:
- Make sure you have the right equipment.
We suggest bringing a backpack to carry all your belongings, and maybe a rain jacket for that classic unpredictable Colorado weather. Check out conditions for where you are going and make sure to wear the proper footwear.
- Never go at it alone.
Bring a buddy on all your adventures! Not only is it more fun, but it's safer. Stick nearby your people to ensure you stay safe to make the most of your summer.
- Bring snacks and water.

Over here at C∙U∙D we are partial to popcorn, but it's a good idea to bring food that can sustain you. Think about bringing some trail mix or beef jerky for an easy and delicious snack on the go.
- Make sure the views are worth the hike.

Choose a hike that is up to your comfort and ability levels, and think about printing out the trail map in preparation. It's crucial to do your research before heading out, but don't forget to do a hike that excites you too! The views will be worth the work to get you there, we promise.

C·U·D will accept submissions until Friday, August 8th at 12PM. Photos must feature a scene from an adventure in Colorado from this summer (May 2025 – present). Submissions are approved to be in landscape or portrait style. Winners will be contacted via email and announced on social media beginning one (1) week after the submission form has closed.
